Event description

Description

We have an ambition to establish a Leeds hub for music and wellbeing research and practice within the School of Music and would very much like to hear from you about whether this would be useful and how this might best support your work – for example, we would see this as a way in which you can work more closely with other practitioners in order to develop collaborative funding applications to address needs within the local area. At the same time, we are also developing a new masters programme – Music and Wellbeing in Practice – which alms to provide new and established practitioners with the critical tools to reflect on and develop practice. We are looking for partners to work with on this exciting new venture and would also like an opportunity to explore the possibilities with you.

We are therefore planning an event on Tuesday 19th December, 4-6pm in the School of Music. We will provide refreshments and offer a participation fee of £10 that you might use to partially offset your travel costs. We hope to discuss what a new Hub might look like and to talk about how we can develop partnerships that will support our new programme. If you are able to attend then please sign up here!
