Event description

Description

A concert for primary school children and families performed by brothers Jonathan and Tom Scott – four hands at one piano. Brilliantly original animated films by Tom Scott to accompany the Mother Goose Suite and Carnival of the Animals, as well as some other familiar musical classics. The concert lasts one hour, with a variety of music and live animation, to include introductions to the music and questions from the audience.

TIMINGS - The concert starts promptly at 11am. Schools will need to arrive by 10.30am to be seated by 10.50am at the latest. The concert is 60 minutes in length.

COST - Attendance is FREE to young people at local Kent schools, and to accompanying staff and their parents. We very much encourage parents/carers to attend this concert for free, too, but they will have to be seated with the school and arrive with the school.
BOOKING - You will be asked to fill in a short booking form, which indicates exactly how many young people, staff and parents/carers will be attending. We will need this in advance of the concert, and cannot guarantee space if you turn up unexpectedly on the day. We are limiting each school to bring only one class, in order that other schools can benefit from the concert.
TARGET YEAR GROUP - KS1, 2 & 3
GETTING THERE - We advise that you attend the concert from your school via walking bus as there is limited parking locally.
NOTE ABOUT THE AUDIENCE - The concert is also open to the general public, so please be aware of this in advance. We need to ensure that all children are accompanied by your school staff at all times (to toilets, and so on) and that they need to be on their very best behaviour throughout (of which we have no doubt that they will be, of course!). Please ensure that children bring a bottle of water or squash (and small snack if needed) with them to the concert.
