Music for Wellbeing Workshop
Sat 11 February 2017, 10:00 – 12:30 GMT
Join us for a creative music workshop to explore ways of using music to enhance your health and wellbeing in a friendly environment.
Discover how to use music to encourage self-expression, self-awareness and relaxation with a range of easy musical activities. You’ll have the chance to interact with others in the group and reflect on your experiences.
The workshop is suitable for everyone and no musical skills are required.
In a relaxed environment we aim to introduce you to new musical experiences through a range of activities including:
- Breathing exercises
- Spontaneous music making (improvisation)
- Interactive musical games
- Music listening
- Verbal reflection and discussion
The session will be facilitated by professional music practitioners and HCPC registered music therapists Kim Roberts and Judit Soler.
