Dmytro Morykit (originally invited to Edinburgh by Richard Demarco) has lived here for over 25 years where he works on many collaborations as pianist/composer with Choreographers, Poets, Film Makers and Dramatists, however during this time many of his unique (Other World) compositions have rarely been heard.
Now, with the distillation of time and experience, Dmytro will play several of these works on solo piano in the beautiful setting of St Cuthbert’s. During the performance, a number of short films will be shown on a manufacturing process, these include Sail making, 3D Printing, Welding and Weaving. Dmytro’s work almost magically brings out the ‘Music in Manufacture’.
This amazing concert should not be missed if you’d like to be present at a rare premier of original music created over the last quarter century, which defies the limitation of genre. Uplifting and inspiring, this concert will have wide appeal.

St Cuthbert's is at the very heart of Edinburgh, it is a superb performance space with fine acoustics. St Cuthbert's is easily accessible by public transport - around twenty Lothian Bus services pass within a hundred yards. You can enter by foot via steps from Princes Street, steps from Lothian Road or on a level surface from King's Stables Road. For those travelling by car, the Castle Terrace car park is just across Kings Stables Road.
