Music Lab is a programme that brings local musicians together to play experimental music as a group. Sessions encouraged different ways of playing, listening, improvised work, use of sound objects, graphic scoring and much more. Musicians have also developed their own musical ideas throughout the year. The group acts as a collective who has steered the direction of the programme alongside Jack McNeil (Clarinettist, Composer and Artist) who facilitates each session.
On Saturday December 13th a collection of work created during the Music Lab programme will be shared. The evening contains an array of different musical formats from sit down concert style moments to interactive segments. We will be celebrating the time the musicians have spent together and the sounds that have been created. Tasty nibbles and refreshments will also be present.
