About this event

Ten Pieces CPD with the BBC Symphony Orchestra

This interactive workshop will give teachers practical ideas to bring music into all parts of the school day. It doesn’t matter how musical you think you are – you will leave the day with new ideas and confidence to help your pupils to get creative with classical music.

This training will highlight ways to use Ten Pieces digital resources to support music-making in school.

Target Audience: Aimed at KS2 classroom teachers. Particularly focusing on non-specialist teachers who lack confidence in delivering music.

East Ed is a cross-organisational effort between the world-leading East Bank partners: BBC, UCL, UAL's London College of Fashion, V&A and Sadler's Wells. The programme also features collaborations from other incredible local partners.

Together, we link local young people and educators to the exciting institutions, universities, and sectors unique to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, offering access to programmes exploring creative, digital, design, and careers. We aim to provide educators with professional development opportunities as well as provide a space for wider discussions around careers, well-being, and work culture.

We are delighted that UCL and London College of Fashion are now open in the Park and they will soon be followed by Sadler's Wells, V&A, and BBC in the following months and years.
