KIDS AND GROWN UPS! JOIN US AT CTZN BAR FOR AN AFTERNOON OF FANTASTIC MUSIC (PLAYED BY OUR RESIDENT DJ) PLUS LEGO, CRAFTING, TATTOOS, BUBBLES, A BOOK CORNER & MORE ALL INCLUDED IN YOUR TICKET PRICE!
Music Mob is bringing an exciting new family clubbing event to CTZN Bar, Chelmsford!
Aimed at kids aged 4-9 AND their grown ups, it's an opportunity for families and friends to spend quality time together, listening to great music, throwing some shapes on the dance floor & catching up!
In the main room our resident DJ will be spinning the kind of tunes grown ups will enjoy just as much as the kids - no 'Dingle Dangle Scarecrow' or 'Let It Go'! For our first event, we're talking a mash up of dance, house, disco, pop and classic floor-fillers - all guaranteed to get the dance floor rocking.
That's not all! As well as the main event of the dancing & music, kids get to enjoy the following - all of which is INCLUDED in your ticket price:
- a [temporary!] tattoo station
- Lego table
- bean bag book corner
- glitter cannons
- inflatable props
- doodle wall
- and a sweetie goodie bag to take home at the end of the event
And for the adults?! There's a fully licensed bar and the opportunity to kick back & catch up with friends. (And great music, did we mention the great music?!) Fancy a spot of dancing too? Get on up & shake it!
The event will take place across CTZN Bar's two floors with music played at a lower level upstairs (where the Lego table, crafting, doodle wall, etc will be) and if the weather is good we'll open up the terrace too!
Finally, we will also have plenty of cake for sale in case you start to feel peckish (after all, how can you have a party without cake?!). All proceeds of the cake sales will be donated to the Lennox Children's Cancer Fund.
We can't wait to see you!
Music Mob. Dance all day. Sleep all night.
During the event accompanying adults remain responsible for the children in their group at all times.
Photos and videos may be taken/shot during the event for promotional purposes. By purchasing a ticket you are giving your permission for these to be used by Music Mob in future marketing materials & to promote Music Mob events.
There will be limited seating at the event and you should expect it to be busy. In order to create a club atmosphere light levels will be low in the main room with club lighting (no strobes). The upstairs room - which will feature our crafting tables, book corner, Lego, etc - will be well lit with lower-level music.
Who is the event targeted at?
Our events are specifically aimed at children aged 4-9 and their grown ups. That doesn't mean we won't welcome younger or older children though! If you think they'll enjoy coming along as part of your group, we look forward to giving them a 'whoop whoop!' and seeing them on the dance floor!
Are there ID or minimum/maximum age requirements to enter the event?
In order to protect the safety of our guests, particularly the little ones, we do have some guidelines:
- No adults will be allowed in to the venue unless there is at least one child (aged 0-12) in their group.
- No more than 3 children per adult.
- No more than 4 adults per child.
Tickets purchased outside of these stipulations or groups turning up in numbers outside of these stipulations will be refused entry and no refunds will be given. Please also note that if an adult turns up late & without their party they will not be allowed entry & no refunds will be given.
How loud will the event be?
Sound levels will be checked throughout the event to ensure they fall within the regulated safe guidelines. However you should be aware that music will be played loud enough to create a club atmosphere and if your child is under the age of 3 or has particularly sensitive ears, you may wish to bring ear defenders.
What can I bring into the event?
Yourself & your best dancing feet! Please note that no food or drink can be brought into the event other than baby food/formula.
Will there be a cloakroom and/or somewhere to leave a buggy?
In order to keep the dancefoor clear, pushchairs & buggies will not be allowed into the venue. There will however be a small area for folded down buggies and space will be given on a first come, first served basis until the space is full. The area will be left unattended and items are left at the owners risk. Given the small space available, we strongly recommend that you leave your buggies at home and if you have a really little one, bring them in a sling. (After all, you'll need your hands free to wave them in the air like you just don't care!)
A cloakroom will be available to leave coats and bags.
How can I contact the organiser with any questions?
Please email us on email@example.com
What's the refund policy?
If for some reason you cannot attend the event, tickets are strictly non-refundable but you may of course transfer to someone else.
