Come and try Roda de Samba, a social music tradition from Brazil!

Played around a table, this seated activity uses small percussion instruments to introduce foundational rhythms such as the clave and telecoteco. Over the course of the session you will get a chance to play a variety of instruments and learn musical breaks and calls that you can make your own. You will additionally learn some common hand signals that a mestre or musical director might use to lead a group and even have a go yourself!
