Our 11 week Introduction to Musical Theatre course starts on 17th September 2024 so we are offering the first class of the term as a £10 taster for those who are unsure about signing up to the full course.
This course will be delivered each Tuesday evening and will suit anybody who loves the idea of performing in a musical but has no or little experience.
Over the following 11 weeks you will work with Stage & the City’s experienced team who will guide you through a selection of musical theatre numbers, working on the essential components of acting, singing and dance.
Please note, if the course becomes fully booked before your taster day you will not be able to attend, so if you are sure you would like a place on any of our courses, it is best to secure your place by booking.
You will learn all the tips and tricks to performing in a musical and what it takes to keep an audience entertained. This is a great fun and fabulous way to learn three disciplines in one. An upbeat course that will have you singing, dancing and acting in no time.
We understand you may be a bit nervous if this is your first time, but classes are taught in a fun and supportive environment. Most of the singing and dancing will be done as a group but there are opportunities for solos!
If you sign up for the full 11 week course, you'll have the chance to perform at our Stage & the City Charity Showcase this November!
