This session will explore how to set up and run a beginner ensemble and how to inspire pupils’ musical development. It will cover different ways to find the right repertoire for your group and how to keep your members coming.
This training is for all teachers who would like to know more about setting up and running a beginner ensemble to follow on from whole class learning.
The session leader will be Patrick Gazard.
Patrick Gazard has over 25 years’ experience in the world of music and music education. As well as being an established author and published composer and arranger, Patrick is a practising teacher and ensemble leader and is the Secondary Curriculum Excellence Advisor for Bucks Learning Trust Music.
