Camberwell Graphic Design course leader Derek Yates will talk about education, the digital design industry, and why employers aren’t looking just for technical experts.
Freeformers TechJam 19:00 - 21:00
In this hands-on workshop with Freeformers you will make a website, explore the web and learn how to make your own awesome digital ideas a reality. The possibilities are endless, and it's much easier than you think! If possible, please bring a laptop. iPads won’t work. If you don’t have a laptop you are welcome to come anyway, but please indicate this on the booking form. If you are bringing a laptop, it's best to have Chrome or Firefox installed (if not, don't worry - we can help you on the night).

Do I need to know how to code to attend the Tech Jam?
No! The TechJam is suitable for complete beginners and people with a basic knowledge of html
Can I come if I don't have a laptop?
Yes. BUT... to get the most out of the session, it would be helpful to bring a laptop. If you don't have your own, you could borrow one from your college loan store. Failing that, just come anyway and find someone to share with!
Can I use my iPad?
No - iPads aren't ideal for this session.
