Description:Understanding and expressing emotions is an essential part of growing up.Led by illustrator and educator Sandy Leong, this workshop invites children to explore different feelings through picture books and hands-on activities. Each child will create a personalised “emotional diary” — a small book combining images and words to express their inner world.
Workshop host:Sandy Leong — A UK-based illustrator and graduate of the Royal College of Art (MA Illustration). She has led visual arts workshops across schools and community spaces in the Sutton area. Her work has been featured at the 2025 Asian Festival of Children’s Content (AFCC), Illustrofest, and has received nominations from the iJungle Illustration Awards, Communication Arts, and the Cheltenham Illustration Awards. www.sandyleongsinu.com
