How can technology help doctors keep us healthy?
Can technology predict when someone might get sick?
How can we use data to understand illnesses?
In this free 30-minute webinar, you and your KS2 pupils will meet Elpida, a Computing Ambassador and researcher who uses programming and data to predict who might be at risk of certain diseases and conditions. Elpida will explain how technology is being used to save lives by spotting health problems early and helping to prevent them.
After Elpida has presented, your pupils will have the opportunity to ask questions. These will be submitted via the webinar chat function and the host will then pick a selection to be asked.
This event is for students accompanied by their teacher(s).
Bookings must be made by teachers. Only 1 ticket per group is needed.
This event is organised by the National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE) supported by Computing Ambassadors.
