My Land-Norwich- Employer/Provider Booking- 29 March
Wed 29 March 2017, 08:00 – 13:00 BST
My Land is a brand new event for 2017 and is taking place at the Easton and Otley College on the 29th March. The event has been designed to give an insight into careers in various land based industries, and specifically the opportunity to work with local employers.
The geographical landscape of the region means that Norfolk has a huge range of industries that work on the land or care for it. These industries cover a broad range of skills and jobs , and My Land is a great opportunity to meet these organisations, but more importantly, find out about the roles that are within in the sector. This event covers Agriculture, Land Conservation, Animal Care, Ground keeping, Pest Control, Broads Conservation, and many more.
In the morning there is a chance to participate in a number of workshops, including an employer speed networking event, given you the opportunity to broaden the views of the opportunities available. There is also an opportunity to participate in a Jobs Panel where you get a chance to describe your job, how you got into your job and the type of training you have done. It will also be a chance for the young people to ask you questions about what you do.
Morning (9:15am - 12:30pm) - Schools/Colleges/University Students/Young People 16+
This registration form is for employers and training providers within the sector, however, PLEASE NOTE Colleges, Training Providers and Recruitment Agencies should contact us prior to booking as small fees apply. Pricing packages are available; please email email@example.com for more information.
