Music Relief is commissioning a short play of approx. 20 minutes that will conclude in a showcase, highlighting the work that will have been done for the last 12 weeks leading to the end of session showcase. We are seeking young people to take part in this play.
The purpose of the play is to highlight the plight of the young people in Croydon and ways they can better deal with the challenges they experience. This play will be on Mental Health breakdown, looking at some issues that may be contributing factors such Domestic Abuse, Youth Crime, Teenage Pregnancy, Child Sexual Abuse, Prostitution and Trafficking.
The workshop will be taking place every Saturday from the 29th April at the Croydon BME Forum for 12 weeks. 11am -1pm
The facilitators come highly recommended with over 40 years working with young people and all DBS checked.
Music Relief Foundation will coordinate the filming both during the workshops and at the showcase.
