Come along to the watch party for Women Writing Together workshop, writing from your alter ego, with your tutor Julie Easley.

Come along to the watch party for MY NAME IS……A workshop writing from your alter ego, taking inspiration from Eminem and David Bowie and their ‘other selves.’ Are you a secret Slim Shady or a Ziggy Stardust? What will your alter ego say that you wouldn’t?Create your alter ego and their counter alter ego and then write a short dialogue poem to be performed as a tiny play.We will explore character and experiment with using the poem as a script.

Artist bio:

Julie Easley (she/her) is a widely published working-class poet, activist, intersectional feminist and trans ally. She is a featured poet in wave fifteen of iambapoet.com. Her debut chapbook ‘Not My King’ was published in 2024 by The Black Light Engine Room Press.
