Can A Production Office Be Paperless?


Join us for a Moneypenny accounting and production management software masterclass.

When: Saturday 21st October, 10am - 4pm
Where: Moneypenny training rooms, Shepperton Studios
Cost: £20 refundable deposit to hold your place

In this comprehensive session, we will run through all procedures so that you can see how the procedures and software work together, allowing more production and accounts integration than any other solution can deliver. In particular, we will show you all of the innovations that we have introduced to the Moneypenny software over the last 12 months to help streamline the production office and accounting interface, to step us closer to the paperless office and to enable work anywhere, anytime.

12.30 - 4pm: focused on accounting features

We believe any production or accounts person will find value in this day, whether they have already used mydaEs software or not. There will also be time to cover other recent updates to the system such as:

- VAT reporting
- Departmental cost reporting
- Accounts receivable

Half day attendance can work for those who don't want to get into the debits and credits.

Features are as follows:

Online PO System (OPO) - sophisticated approval system which immediately populates the cost manager on approval for real time management.

Online Crew Contracting (OCC) - two way communication platform with crew to generate online crew contract approval and acceptance. Payroll system receives information directly for quick turnaround of crew payments.

Online Document Distribution (ODD) - payslips, scripts, schedules, call sheets, etc made available securely to crew in their personal portal. Documents watermarked, should they be printed (heaven forbid!)

Online in trays - A full set of in trays mirror the physical trays that will become extinct in the OM world. Digital documents are place in in trays as received by department and processed by accounts directly from in tray. Easy connection to online PO's accelerating the entry of invoices and payment.

Easily adjusted OPO to match invoice provides easy remote invoice/payment approval.

Cost Manager - user friendly cost manager allows producer and/or approved manager access to manage the costs against budget in real time with drill down to original documents. Apart from the online software solutions, we have developed tried and tested procedures that can take the stress as well as the paper out of managing a production, giving the producer the best chance of optimising the budget and delivering all required reporting to funders, auditors and HMRC.
