MyKindaFuture help students explore their career options post-education, be that apprenticeships, college, or university and graduate employment. We do this by enabling young people to have face-to-face contact with a wide range of employers and experience the different career routes and opportunities on offer.
Additionally, through engaging in our activities run in schools, colleges and universities (such as our Bright Futures Societies, online challenges and workshops) students have been able to make themselves more competitive in the job market. They help young people understand more about their strengths and skills, what careers will suit them and guide them to make the best choice about their future career whilst ensuring everything is captured in one place, on their sharable CV.
In this training session, MyKindaFuture will train teachers from a variety of schools to reach the next generation of talent from their schools, attracting bright students to the Civil Service Fast Track Apprenticeships and Fast Stream scheme. Fast Track apprentice volunteers will speak on their experiences on the apprenticeship scheme and how they found the application process.
