This session will focus on how we can strengthen our local youth offer and improve collective work across Middlesbrough, with updates, practical workshops, and space for networking.
The agenda includes:
- MYM Update – Annual Infrastructure Report & Better together project updates
- Breakout workshops on collaboration, with table discussions hosted by MYM partners
- Key sector updates – short 3-minute “elevator pitches” from up to five organisations
- Networking and refreshments – space to connect, share, and build partnerships
Breakout Workshops – Table Questions
Our breakout tables will focus on strategy-aligned, specific questions designed to generate tangible outcomes:
- Things to do (activities & events): What practical steps can we take to create, share, and expand accessible activities for young people in Middlesbrough?
- Youth Voice & Decision Making: How do we better ensure young people’s voices directly influence service planning, delivery, and funding priorities across the sector?
- Workforce Development: What collaborative solutions will help us recruit, retain, and develop the skilled youth work workforce Middlesbrough needs?
Outcomes from each table will be captured and circulated with attendees after the event.
Open Floor – Sector Updates
We will have space for up to five organisations to share a short update (3 minutes each). If you would like to register for one of these update slots, please indicate when booking and follow the guidance given. These slots will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
