Welcome to the Magical Creature Dragon Workshop! 🐉✨

In this enchanting all-day workshop, you’ll harness the power of Quick Cure Clay (QCC) to sculpt your very own fantastical creation and awaken your inner artist. Under Alex’s expert guidance, you’ll embark on a journey to breathe life into your unique dragon masterpiece.

Here’s a glimpse of what awaits you during this magical workshop:


Morning Session:

09:00 - 09:15 Introductions and safety briefing

09:15 - 13:00 Including a mid morning break where tea, coffee and cake will be provided


  1. Body Armature Creation: Begin by shaping a basic body structure using foil.
  2. Conditioning QCC: Roll out enough clay to cover the body and head, ensuring a smooth surface.
  3. Leg Sculpting: Craft intricate legs for your dragon.
  4. Wings: Attach and drape wings over part of the body.
  5. Head Sculpture: Add eyes and intricate mouth details.
  6. Horns and Spines: Shape these distinctive features.
  7. Texture and Scales: Bring your dragon to life with texture and scale patterns.


Lunch Break:

13:00 - 14:00

Lunch not provided, however there is an unique and fairtrade coffee shop on the 1st floor which offers a wide choose of ground coffees, specialty teas, freshly made sandswiches, hot meals and cakes all served in spectacular surroundings.


During this midday interlude, we’ll cure your dragons, preparing them for the afternoon session.


Afternoon Session:

14:00 - 17:00 Including a mid afternoon break where tea, coffee and cake will be provided


  1. Painting Your Dragon: Dive into the world of color! Use acrylic and metallic paints to add vibrant hues to your dragon. Learn the art of dry brushing for exquisite details.
  2. Base Assembly: Secure your dragon to a wooden base.
  3. Scene Building: Utilize moss and organic materials (gathered from our garden) to create a captivating environment around your dragon.


Advisory Note:


  • Recommended Skill Level: Intermediate (but don’t worry, beginners are welcome too!)
  • Gloves: We’ll provide non-latex gloves for your safety.
  • Tools: Expect to use a scalpel and hot glue.
  • Age Requirement: Participants aged 12 and under 16 must have an adult present due to the use of scalpel and hot glue.
