Explore your shadow. Discover your gold. A creative journey through myth.
Join dramatherapist Abigail Nelson for one or both of these experiential workshops exploring the inner world through myth, movement, meditation, and art. Whether you're new to creative self-exploration or already on a wellness journey, these sessions offer an embodied, inspiring space to reconnect with yourself.
The morning workshop focuses on the inner shadow - "the cave you fear to enter that holds the treasure you seek". The afternoon turns to our inner gold - our true gifts and potential. Each session stands alone, but attending both allows for a deeper, more integrated experience.
Through guided visualisation, storytelling, playful embodied group activities, and individual reflective art-making and writing, you’ll explore ancient myths that hold both universal wisdom and deeply personal relevance. Rooted in dramatherapy principles, this process invites insight, creativity, and connection in a warm, supportive group setting.
Led by Abigail Nelson, a HCPC-registered dramatherapist based in Edinburgh, these workshops draw on years of experience in therapeutic and community spaces. Abigail specialises in neurodivergent and trauma-informed work, and is passionate about using myth to help people explore themselves with curiosity and compassion.
