Stories from Stirling’s historic past re-examined
About this event
Stirling Council’s Archaeologist, Dr Murray Cook and Council Archivist Pam McNicol join us for a special Off the Page online event - Myth Busters: stories from Stirling’s historic past re-examined.
Why are romantic legends about history so compelling? And why do these stories persist, even when many people are aware that they may not be entirely factual? Dr Murray Cook and Council Archivist Pam McNicol will be blogging a tale and the truth behind some of Stirling’s ‘stories’ for the three days of our Off the Page book and culture festival. Read all about it on our Off the Page website https://stirlingevents.org/festival/off-the-page/
Join us for the online talk on Thursday 26th May at 19:00 on MS Teams.
