Join us at Afterdark Edinburgh for a night of spooky Halloween fun.

Let your imagination run wild as you dress up as your favourite mythical creature, mystical being or spooky creation. Whether you're a majestic unicorn, a mischievous fairy, or a powerful dragon, this event is the perfect place to unleash your inner magic. Go all out in your costume for a chance to win Best Dressed, and capture the moment with a snap shoot by making use of our photo space that will be available between 2-4pm. (Times may vary due to staffing or demand)

Dance the night away to spellbinding music, mingle with other creatures of the night, and indulge in your kinky Fantasies.

We will provide the venue, but YOU will create the atmosphere.

The main goal here at Kinky Coven is to create a safe, welcoming environment for all; irrespective of Gender, Orientation, Age, Personal Beliefs, etc. We ask that you be respectful to everyone throughout your visit and act appropriately for the event.

Ticketing

We use Eventbrite for all of our ticketing - the only way to attend is to purchase a ticket through our Eventbrite listings.

Payment

We are a cash-only event and do not operate a card machine on site. This is to help minimise running costs and maximise any revenue going back into the events.

For those who prefer to pay cash and skip the fees, you can message us for a code to reserve a spot and complete our forms on Eventbrite. Please note that doing so adds you to our capacity count so we ask that individuals who use this system are respectful to others who wish to attend and let us know if they can no longer make it.

Requirements

-To attend any Kinky Coven event, you must have participated in our orientation process. This allows us to ensure everyone in attendance understands how we operate. Please note that no orientation takes place during this event, and as such it is unsuitable for your first event.

- At present, this style of event is being trialled and we are still setting up our new membership system, in the future this will be an event for members of the coven only, however for now if you have attended a coven event before and participated in our orientation you will be able to attend this event as you are classified as a member.

- We want to remind members to have a form of valid ID when you visit as you may be asked for proof of age.

Event Description

The event runs like one of our members events and is a **Sexual Play Events**

Sexual Play Events - Full nudity is allowed in our venue, which includes breasts and genitalia but please put a towel down on any furniture to maintain cleanliness. During this type of event our venue is divided into no-play, non-sexual play and sexual play areas, which will be indicated to you on our ticket pages.

Sexual Play Zones include Kink Alley, our back room and any of our bedrooms. Please note that any space with a padded floor can not be used for sexual play.

We normally restrict edgeplay to our pink room, this event will allow edge play to be done in more play spaces and in the public eye. his is a privilege that we are looking forward to offering attendees at our members-only events.

No Play Zones include the smoking room, bar area, corridors, showers, locker area and bathroom. We request that you limit intimate contact and do not test toys out in this space, if we feel that behaviour is more suited for an alternative space we will politely ask you to relocate.

Our reception area requires you to be fully covered to be appropriate for random walk-ins.

Dress Code

It's our Halloween party; come dressed up for a spooky fantasy world. We want to see Fairies, Werewolves, Vampires, Mermaids and everything in between.

However as always the dress code is to wear what makes you comfortable and feel confident. For more information on our dress code and personal appearance, please read our expanded rules and information writing.

Clothes Not Permitted - Anything with an offensive slogan, Football colours or kits.

We also want to remind everyone to arrive in normal vanilla clothing, which is a requirement imposed by our venue. For this event we understand individuals having makeup on when arriving however we still request you do not travel or arrive in your final outfits. Failure to do so will result in a warning and repeat offenders will be issued strikes.

We do have a photographer attending our event, which means you will get the opportunity to get some fabulous photos in your costumes and get some memorable snapshots of your night. (Photography available between 2-4pm roughly)

Kinky Coven isn't just an event, it's grown into a flourishing community filled with wonderful individuals. To celebrate our 2nd birthday, we are hoping to do a big community group photo. You do not need to be involved if you do not wish to be, and you are welcome to wear a mask or cover your face if you want to be involved but stay anonymous. If you choose to take part and keep your face revealed, you are giving explicit consent for this photo with your image to be in the public domain. We have no control over what happens to the photo once it is published online and we plan on using this photo for advertising both on our socials and in future advertising.

Additional Information

Bar

This event will have speciality alcohol free fruit fizz on for our guests, you will be given a token when you check in to redeem this from the bar.

This is a BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) event. If you bring your own drinks please hand them into our bar staff upon arrival, they will put your name on your drink and put it behind the bar area. Our bar staff will pour your drink for you and reserve the right to stop serving you alcohol at any point in the night.

We don't allow for opened-topped drinks or glass containers down Kink Alley; if you are someone who needs to have water on hand for a scene, we recommend bringing your own bottle, and we will happily fill it behind the bar for you. Alternatively, bottled water and cans of pop are available for purchase at the cost of £1.50.

We also made the decision at KC to make tea, coffee, hot chocolate and juice free for everyone just ask one of our staff members behind the bar if you want one of these drinks. Oat milk is available!

Food

At KC, we also like to make sure our members are not only well hydrated but well fed too! We supply both savoury and sweet snacks to help yourself to throughout the night. This normally includes Pancakes that you can top with homemade jam and chocolate spread, nachos and dips, popcorn, mixed meat platters and sweeties of varying kinds.

We will have a prize for best savoury and best sweet snack brought by our guests. However, we request that you ensure these items do not include any nuts or shellfish for allergy reasons and supply an ingredients list for our table.

If you want to bring your own food in or order in to avoid leaving the building for the day you are very welcome to, we just request that it doesn't contain nuts or shellfish.

Social Kit

KC's heart is deeply rooted in the community, and for this reason, we offer a range of board and card games, as well as a pool table, as part of your entry fee.

KC Kinky Kit Library

We know how expensive and hard it is to build a substantial and varied kink kit; so we offer a kinky kit library for all of our guests to make use of. This allows many of our members to try before they buy.

Ask staff about available equipment for your scenes, including:-
