About this event

Travel & Outdoor • Other

Join us at Winton Rec where we’ll be discovering the park at night. We will be looking for moths, pond dipping by torchlight, bat detecting, stargazing, and planet hunting.

Hot drinks will be provided.

Bring along a torch so you check out the incredible wildlife that has made the pond its home. Remember to wrap up warm as October nights can be chilly.

Look out for our team, we'll meet by the pond next to The Parks Foundation office.

If you have any questions, you can get in touch with our team member, Bob, on: bob@parksfoundation.org.uk

£5 per adult, £2.50 per child

All children must be supervised by an adult.

In the event of cloudy weather, the event will still go ahead with an alternative night-sky presentation, including meteorites and solar system models. The event will be cancelled if rain is expected.

The Parks Foundation charity enhances parks across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole so that people and wildlife can flourish.
