NAA Networking Event - Klarius Products, NAA Company of the Year 2017

Overview

Klarius Products is the UK’s largest manufacturer of emissions components including exhausts, catalytic converters, diesel particulate filters and associated mounting components, in addition to a host of other products.

With new-to-range parts released on average twice a day, the company is built on lean principles and unmatched flexibility, with the capacity to design, test and manufacturer type-approved parts in a matter of weeks.

The R&D Centre is based at the company’s 13-acre site located in Cheadle, Staffordshire, just off the A50 Stoke – Derby road and about 20 mins from M6 Junctions 15 and 16. The centre has the capacity to prototype cast, fabricated and formed tube and wire products in addition to producing an entire production line, including the tooling and machine tools as well as offering full emissions testing on a rolling road and dedicated test track.

Not only that, but as a sub-contract manufacturer, stockist and distribution facility, the company has the capacity, and the in-house expertise, to deliver low to medium and high volume on-shore manufacturing solutions.

Klarius primarily supplies aftermarket products, however it also carries out technology development for OEMs, as well as designing and manufacturing niche products for specialist vehicle manufacturers. Due to being a specialist in lean techniques that allow fast changeover, the company manufactures two million exhausts per year with 8,000 different part references.
