Overview

RS Clare was founded in Liverpool in 1748 at the start of the Industrial Revolution and they are the longest established company manufacturing lubricants in the United Kingdom. Despite their age, the company is innovative, dynamic and constantly pursuing new ways to improve the services and products we offer.

Today they operate a Surface Coatings Division, making and applying anti-skid surfacing and road markings. Their Industrial Lubricants Division has built on their long experience in grease making by servicing niche markets for speciality products in Rail, Oil & Gas, Marine, Steel, and Automotive industries throughout the world. Their Private Label Lubricants Division continues to manufacture conventional and non-conventional lubricants under customers' own brands.

What sets RS Clare apart from their competitors is their ability to deliver a custom made solution to customers’ business needs. They have built an enviable reputation, based on the ability to align with the markets they serve, whether supporting major multinational oil companies or local users of speciality lubricants, service treatments or road markings.
