Description

A free event for NaCSBA Members, The Right To Build Summit 2017 provides a unique insight into the current and future prospects for the Custom and Self Build Homes Sector in the UK. Presented by leading figures and analysts at the heart of the sector, the event will include a news announcement by Richard Bacon MP of the number of serviced plots councils must permission over the next three years under England’s Right to Build legislation.

Key sessions include:

  • Executive summary of the Self and Custom Build Market Report by Brian Green of Brickonomics*

  • A vision of where the sector could be in 2025 by Charlie Luxton TV Presenter and Architectural Designer

  • An update on the process of NaCSBA’s RTB Task Force from Chair Jon Sawyer and Director, Mario Wolf

  • An introduction to the CSB Demand Assessment Tool by Lin Cousins of NaCSBA partner Three Dragons.

  • News announcement by Richard Bacon MP, Chair of the APPG for Self Build, Custom and Community Housebuilding & Placemaking, revealing the number of serviced plots that councils in England must grant permission for over the next three years to meet demand from the first full year base period of the Right to Build registers in England and the number of serviced plots permissioned to date.
