The 2019 Autumn General Meeting (AGM) will this year be held at the four-star, Jurys Inn Hinckley Island Hotel in Leicester.  The Jurys Inn Hinckley Island Hotel and Conference Venue offers a central location just off the M1, M6 and M69 motorways, and is a short drive to both Birmingham and East Midlands Airports ensuring it is perfectly located for NAFD attendees.

The agenda for this one-day half year AGM, which will take place on Thursday 10 October 2019, is designed to ensure members are up to date on Association business, bring important votes to the table and, more than likely, evoke some lively discussion.

The NAFD is delighted to welcome chair of the Funeral Service Consumer Standards Review (FSCSR), Lewis Shand Smith, and Senior North Manchester Coroner, Joanne Kearsley to present sessions at the year’s AGM.  In particular, our newly appointed Independent Chair will be in attendance and we will be welcoming him to the event.

Papers will be circulated electronically to all members ahead of the meeting.  Attendance at the AGM is free to NAFD members, or £25.00 to include lunch.  Guests are welcome to attend and may join you for lunch for the same price but may not attend the AGM, as this is open to members of the Association only.  Don’t forget, every vote counts and each member firm (not branch) has one vote so you need to be there to ensure that you have your say.
