NAFS X QUEERCIRCLE Scattered seeds- Collaging our eco-systems workshop
Overview
Join us for an immersive evening of creativity and reflection as we dive into the themes of identity, earth, and re-imagining our future selves through collage art. Led by Gamze and Florenza from scattered seeds. This workshop invites you to harness collaging techniques to craft your own metaphoric gardens. We will explore what you wish to compost, what you are currently seeding, and what you hope to harvest in the future.
In this hands-on workshop, you'll engage in a playful, DIY approach to art-making. We'll reclaim materials, images, and texts, using collage to dismantle imposed narratives and envision self-made futures. Together, we’ll work with the fragmented parts of ourselves, our communities, and our lands, reassembling memories and connections.
Expect a vibrant atmosphere with visual displays, soothing sounds, and a comfortable environment as we manifest change and growth for ourselves and our community. Tea, coffee, and snacks will be provided.
Workshop Highlights:
- Create visual collages representing your personal, political, and community-based ecosystems.
- Map out movements, collectives, and relationships you are part of or wish to nurture.
- Collaborate to co-create a living map that interconnects our individual ecosystems into a larger web.
Reserve your FREE spot now and engage with like-minded individuals. We look forward to seeing you there.
