Join us this November, for either one day or two, for our very first back-to-back Early Years and Primary conference. We look forward to welcoming you to The Knowledge Centre at the British Library; a short walk from Kingscross, St Pancras and Euston Station.

With the Early Years Conference starting the two-days off on the 21 November followed by Primary Conference on 22 November, each day has been designed for those working in the Early Years and Primary phases and is a two-day event not to be missed.

This is a unique opportunity for school leaders, leadership teams, teachers and support staff to reflect on and develop policy and practice in their schools across both phases, making sure that the learning journey continues seamlessly for children as they move through school.

Day one’s theme will be around Getting the Balance Right because we know you want to get the best results out of your school without compromising on effective teaching and learning.

Day two’s theme is focused on Reclaiming the Research – what does it really tell us? And will explore what really works well for school leaders based on the research.

The keynote speakers and workshops across both days have been carefully chosen to inform and inspire delegates, provoke discussion and debate, highlight the very latest and best research and pedagogy in Early Years and Primary Education.

You will be asked to input your payment details (card only), details of the attendee (please use their direct email address) and workshop choices, so you will need to have this information to hand before starting the registration process.

Please do not book travel or accommodation without checking with the Professional Development team (events@naht.org.uk) that the conference will be going ahead.

The NAHT has the right to cancel the conference if insufficient bookings are received. The NAHT also reserves the right to change the venue prior to the scheduled date, and in this event will communicate any alterations as soon as possible. The programme may be subject to change.

FAQs

Do I need my membership number to book?

Yes. If you are booking a member place you will be required to enter the correct membership number. You can find your membership number by phoning membership on 0300 3030333 option 2.

Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?

The Professional Development team can be contacted on events@naht.org.uk or 01444 472405.

Is my booking transferrable?

Bookings may only be transferred at the discretion of the Professional Development team. These will need to be made in writing to events@naht.org.uk before the event. Transfers and cancellations may be subject to a charge.

Please note that member bookings (Early Bird and Standard) are not transferrable. If a non-member attends an event in place of a member without prior notification and approval by the Professional Development team, the Standard Non-member charge will be applicable.

Cancellation fees

Within 20 working days - 25% charge

Within 10 working days - 50% charge

Within 5 working days - 75% charge

Within 2 working days - 100% charge

Group Bookings

A special discounted group booking rate for this event will be available to members and non-members. The following conditions apply:

  • All bookings under this discount have to be made at the same time in one transaction
  • A minimum of three bookings (member, non-member or a mix) need to be made to qualify for the discounted price
  • Payment for all booked places must be made by credit or debit card (we are unable to invoice for these bookings)
  • Bookings cannot be accepted individually at different times
  • No refunds are available for any cancelled bookings

If you are unable to meet the above requirements, we advise you to book single tickets at the advertised prices. The group booking tickets will be available when the Early Bird tickets have sold out.

Can I update my registration information?

Any updates to your booking must be made in writing to the Professional Development team at events@naht.org.uk

Does the name on the booking need to match the delegate?

The names of each individual delegate must be entered during the booking process along with a unique email address for each delegate as this will be used for the final confirmation.
