Conference Description:

Join us at this year's NAHT Richmond annual conference; Stronger Together: Improving School Leaders' Wellbeing

Following requests from members, we have reintroduced a conference in Richmond and have extended the invitation to members in branches across Greater London to extend opportunities for networking and collaboration. We will particularly welcome colleagues from Kensington and Chelsea and Kingston upon Thames.

Speakers will share their insights and strategies to help attendees to explore ways of improving their own wellbeing and that of their colleagues for the benefit of their students and themselves.

Great value CPD at just £20 for NAHT members and £90 for non-members.

(Not yet a member? Why not join NAHT today before you register for the conference and save yourself £70, as well as becoming part of the NAHT union?)

Speakers:

  • Barney Tremblay (Senior Leader Wellbeing) is a wellbeing consultant who has worked successfully in many professional sectors, including school leadership for a number of years. She will share her experience and insight into ho school leaders can proactively act to improve their own wellbeing and that of their colleagues.

  • Matthew Waterfall is NAHT's Regional Head for Greater London and has a vast wealth of experience in helping members to deal positively with complaints from parents. He will share approaches and practices that will transform the wellbeing of leaders who are grappling with a significant increase in this aspect of their work. He will address specific questions from the attendees about situations that they are dealing with.

  • London's very own, Dave Woods will share the current information about what your union is campaigning for with regards to school leader wellbeing and listening to your voice on actions that might be taken to improve the impact of those campaigns. Dave is NAHT's National Vice President, becoming President in 2026, and can offer an inside track to national and regional activity.
