Naloxone Training!
Come join us at Lifford House for a short session focused on Naloxone. Learn about the signs of opioid overdose, how to respond in an emergency and how to administer the injectable Naloxone (Prenoxad) kit, and what we offer at Change Grow Live, Birmingham.
We will look at:-
- What is an Opioid?
- What does an Opioid overdose look like?
- How do you respond
- How to administer the Naloxone (with a demonstration)
- Who are Change Grow Live and what do we offer in Birmingham?
Everyone will leave with a certificate of attendance and a Naloxone kit to take home.
This course is essential for anyone working with a client group who misuse substances.

There are no awkward ice breakers beyond introductions at the start, so if you have any anxieties about speaking in front of a group please don't worry. You can always speak to me beforehand if you have any concerns. You can participate as much or as little as you'd like.
If you have any specific needs or require any adjustments e.g. larger print, auditory or cognitive adjustments please contact me in advance and I can support you with this.
If you can't make it, please cancel your tickets as far as you can in advance or let me know so I can add additional. The sessions are limited to once a month, so it is really important we get as many people to attend as possible. If you are later than 20 minutes you may not be able to attend.
