Naloxone reverses opioid overdoses – it can save a life in minutes.
Leicestershire County Council are supporting Turning Point in offering free naloxone training and kits to professionals who work across Leicestershire and Rutland.
What is Naloxone?
- Naloxone is a life-saving medication that reverses the effects of an opioid overdose
- It is safe and easy to use

- How to recognise the signs of an opioid overdose
- How to respond to an overdose in an emergency
- How to use Naloxone
Who can attend?
- Any professionals working within Leicestershire & Rutland that feel they need it

Various locations, including:
- County Hall, Glenfield - 7th July 2025
- Coalville Turning Point Hub - 26th September 2025
- Loughborough Wellbeing Centre - 3rd December 2025
- Hinckley Turning Point Hub - 9th March 2026
Training takes approximately 2 hours 30 minutes
You will have the opportunity to take away naloxone kits with you after the training
