In this session, we will talk about the NaPTAN 910 dataset - the national UK standard for identifying railway station access points, where each railway station stop is assigned a unique ATCO code prefixed with '910'. NaPTAN underpins almost all journey-planning and transport integration tools across Great Britain and is central to transporting data interoperability and accuracy.
Why Attend?
- Progress update and discussion: we recently conducted an audit of the NaPTAN 910 dataset and will share our findings with you for discussion. We want to understand how any potential updates to the dataset may affect you.
- Give us feedback on data clarity, anomalies, and edge cases you have encountered.
Why this matters
NaPTAN 910 is more than a dataset, it’s the backbone of how rail public transport interfaces with passengers. By clarifying station data, fixing inconsistencies, and making it more interoperable, we can significantly improve journey planning across the UK.
Your Voice Matters
Whether you work for a Local Transport Authority, use or are interested in NaPTAN data, or someone passionate about inclusive transport, your input is invaluable. Join us to ensure that the data we will provide via NaPTAN meets the diverse needs of all users.
