To ensure a fun and safe night for all we require you to read the following information before proceeding to payment – your ticket purchase acts as confirmation
that you and your party agree to these Terms and Conditions
Children:
· U16s must be accompanied by an adult and remain the responsibility of that adult throughout the event – e.g No playing behind the catering vans/tents – No ducking under safety barriers
· A Lost Child meeting point will be situated in the First Aid / St John Ambulance tent by the Pedestrian Entrance – write your tel no on your child’s hand or on a slip of paper in their pocket
Traffic/Parking:
· Drivers are asked to drive responsibly in our village and be mindful that pedestrians are walking to and from this event in the dark
· Access roads to the event must remain clear at all times so that emergency services can negotiate the village easily and without delay – please park legally, safely and respectfully
· There will be a road closure from just above the Sports Field to top of Butt Hill for the duration of the firework display (approx. 7-7.30pm)
· If you have friends/family in the village with adequate space, please consider parking with them first
· Please car share where possible
· Accessible parking on the bonfire field is reserved for the elderly, disabled and families with babies, toddlers or pre-schoolers
· Additional parking is available at Napton Sports Pavilion (5 mins), Napton Arc School (5 mins), Dog Lane Fisheries (5 mins), Crossroads Garage (5 mins) and St Lawrence Church (5 mins) and we ask that you do use these locations to keep our roads clear
· Pedestrians must use the Pedestrian Entrance located between the farm buildings and event field both on arrival (have your ticket to hand for scanning) and exit - you may wish to bring a torch
Refreshments:
· We will have a variety of catering vans serving hot food - Napton Water Buffalo, Red Banger, The Village Chippy and El Taco as well as a cake stall and tuckshop
· Bringing your own alcohol to this event is not permitted
· A selection of mulled wine, ales, lager and cider plus hot chocolate and other soft drinks will be available in the beer tent - we ask that you drink responsibly, being mindful that this is a family event
· We will be operating the ‘Challenge 25’ age verification policy so if you are fortunate enough to look under 25 please bring appropriate photo ID (passport, driving licence or PASS card)
· We prefer you to pay by card but cash payments are also accepted
General:
· STRICTLY NO DRONES --- STRICTLY NO SPARKLERS
· Please do not bring fireworks for us to launch – you will be asked to remove them from site
· Please dispense of your litter in the bins provided – these will be clearly marked for recycling or general waste so please be thoughtful and use the correct one
· Please be vigilant and report any unsociable or suspicious behaviour to one of our marshals
In an emergency and/or evacuation please listen for instructions from the loudspeaker,
follow the lead of marshals (identified by hi-vis waistcoats)
and leave the field as calmly, quietly and quickly as possible
