The NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) is a therapeutic approach which supports a reorientation towards more aliveness and connection. It addresses attachment, relational, and developmental trauma by working with the adaptive patterns that cause life-long psychobiological symptoms and interpersonal difficulties. These unconscious patterns of disconnection deeply affect our identity, emotions, physiology, behaviour and relationships.
I'm curious to test out and expand my 1-1 work as a NARM Practitioner into a group setting, while also using my experience of leading Circling groups.
NARM can also be described as a somatic mindfulness based enquiry into our sense of identity. Circling's 5 principle's seem to align with this statement too.
This is a pilot. Much like Circling participants may encounter places, states, emotions, beliefs, and sensations in themselves and others that are sometimes unfamiliar. By attending you take responsibility for choosing to leave or participate in any given moment.
