Event description

Description

You are invited to attend a Casework Briefing on 12 July 2017 focused on performance management.

The aim of the briefing is to provide support to caseworkers and lay activists throughout the East Midlands region and also to provide an opportunity to get together and discuss current issues affecting NASUWT members.

This is one of a series of briefings we will hold before the end of the academic year, with the intention of making these a monthly event.

Senior staff from the Centre will be in attendance to offer advice and guidance on aspects of casework and each of the three briefings referred to above will include a presentation from a national official of the union on one of the following areas; age discrimination; organising to support collective casework; and performance management.

Please therefore make every effort to attend these briefings which should provide invaluable assistance to you in your role as a union activist, and also provide the opportunity for you to meet activists from throughout the region.

The session will commence at 6.00 p.m. and last until 8.00 p.m. and food will be provided from 5.00 p.m.

Attendees will also be able to claim any reasonable travel costs incurred.
