National Assessment Conference
The National Assessment Conference is where school leaders and classroom teachers can go for practical, take-away assessment advice.
Our 5th National Assessment Conference will be held in London on Friday 3 March 2017. It will provide best practice workshops on a range of issues, including how to effectively identify coasting students, how schools can use standardised assessments to support the new performance measures at both primary and secondary level, and assessment techniques to identify ‘hard to spot’ children who may not be achieving their full potential for a variety of reasons.
We are delighted to announce the Rt Hon David Laws, Executive Chairman, Education Policy Institute as our keynote speaker.
David joined the EPI as Executive Chairman in September 2015. Between 2010 and 2015, David served in the Coalition Government as Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Schools Minister, and Cabinet Office Minister. Whilst Schools Minister he was responsible for policy areas including all capital and revenue funding, the Pupil Premium, accountability and policy on teachers and leadership.
