Be inspired at our annual National Conference as we explore the theme of Hope and how we can be hope givers in our church and communities.

Our main speakers for the day are:

Patrick Regan OBE

Patrick is an activist whose passion is speaking about resilience, courage and wellbeing. He founded two award-winning charities, XLP and, most recently, Kintsugi Hope, in partnership with his wife, Diane. Kintsugi Hope has pioneered Kintsugi Wellbeing groups all over the UK to help people in the area of their mental health.

Cathy Madavan

An experienced speaker and author, Cathy is known for encouraging and equipping others to live with courage, confidence and resilience. Having faced her fair share of life’s ups and downs, Cathy’s wisdom and honesty inspires others to build lives of purpose, responding positively to their own challenges and opportunities.

Dez Brown

Dez is the founder and CEO of Spark2Life, an award-winning 'faith based not faith biased' charity, working with medium to high-risk young people/adults. Dez has been through the criminal justice system. At 17 he was imprisoned for manslaughter culminating in him finding faith and becoming an Ordained Minister. He is a qualified Therapist; trains professionals on trauma awareness; served as a Prison Therapist and a sessional Prison Chaplain.

Worship will be led by the one and only Graham Kendrick!

Graham is a singer-songwriter, teacher, and worship leader. He will be leading in worship during the conference. He has written many authentic songs, focused on lament and justice

Ruth Rice

Ruth is Director of Renew Wellbeing, a Christian charity helping churches set up “Quiet Shared spaces where its Ok not to be Ok” . Renew Wellbeing now have over 270 cafe spaces nationally and are working with many other churches willing to learn more about how to join in with the wellbeing conversation to see an end to isolation and better mental health for all.

Ellie Gage

For nearly 20 years Ellie has been a senior leader in the charity sector. She is passionate about creating excellent workplace cultures that value people and draws on her faith as her motivation and inspiration. Driven to see people set free from everything that hinders them, Ellie champions mercy, compassion and justice for all.

Howard Satterthwaite

Howard is a Senior Practitioner Coach & Mentor, trainee counsellor, former Lead Pastor at Westminster Chapel, and is currently working for Open Doors UK & Ireland as their Church Relations Lead for the South of England. He describes himself as a recovering approval addict, and battles discouragement which has become depression on a couple of occasions in his forty+ orbits around the sun. He's also a published author with SPCK (Spiritual Detox), has an amazing wife and two wonderful young kids, loves sci-fi and supports Ipswich Town.

Pre-order a freshly prepared packed lunch, comprised of

  • Wrap - chicken or cheese salad (gluten free option available for both)
  • Quiche - brie & bacon or broccoli & stilton (both gluten free)
  • Chocolate brownie (gluten free)
  • Fruit Kebabs

You must purchase an add-on ticket for your lunch option if having a packed lunch. Available on the tickets screen of this online booking form.


Travel Information:

By train: Huntingdon Train Station is a 15 minute drive from venue (Huntingdon is on the Kings Cross to Edinburgh line)

By car: There is room for a limited number of cars to park on site. There is some space on the High Street, but we are requested not to block any driveways.

Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with seams of gold.  When the brokenness is repaired, the object becomes more beautiful and unique than it was before.  Instead of hiding the scars, it makes a feature of them.
