Event description
National Confidential Inquiry into Suicide & Safety in Mental Health 7th Conference

About this event

Please join us for our free half day virtual conference presenting the latest UK-wide findings relating to people who died by suicide between 2008 and 2018.

We will examine the circumstances surrounding these deaths, discuss changes in trends over time, and present our recommendations for clinical practice and policy that will improve safety. We will also present findings from our Suicide by Middle-aged Men report and from our data collection of real-time surveillance of suspected suicides following the first lockdown, both in the general population, and in people under the care of mental health services. We will be joined by our guest speaker Steve Gilbert OBE, our expert panellist Dr Jacqui Dyer MBE and our event will be chaired by Dr Kate Lovett.

All welcome.

We would appreciate it if all attendees could register for this event as there is a limit to numbers, so please do not share the webinar link with others. Thank you.
