Event description

Description

It's National GetOutside Day so "will you go out with me"?

Join me, Dave Wilson (Ordnance Survey GetOutside Champion), for a walk to the mystical Drake Stone (and more) in Northumberland National Park.

We'll first visit the Drake Stone and stop for bait, brew and a view, before setting off and exploring Harbottle Lake and the River Coquet. This walk features something for everyone from crags and lakes, to forests and river trails.

The walk is 4 miles, and is generally easy walking other than a short steep section to reach the Drake Stone. We will stop for refreshments (bring your own) at the Drake Stone.

After the walk you can explore Harbottle Castle or enjoy a drink in The Star Inn.
