We are launching our 2015 scenarios at our "Future Energy Scenarios" conference on Wednesday 15 July, as part of our annual consultation process.
With the ever-changing nature of the energy industry, the focus of the day will be on the key themes that have arisen from this year’s analysis. We will be discussing the future energy demand and supply mix, and exploring what this means for balancing and operating the gas and electricity systems.
An exhibition will follow in the afternoon, covering this year’s analysis on demand, supply and balancing topics. This is your chance to discuss the detail behind the scenarios with the team who produce them. We value these conversations and your thoughts and ideas will help us to continue to develop our analysis. You will also have the chance to register your interest in joining various future workshops to input further into our analysis.
Registration will open at 9am, with the first presentation beginning at 9.30am.
If you are unable to attend, please feel free to send any questions to us ahead of the conference.

When & Where
National Grid is an electricity and gas company that connects consumers to energy sources through its networks.
The company is at the heart of one of the greatest challenges facing our society – to create new, sustainable energy solutions for the future and developing an energy system that underpins economic prosperity in the 21st century. National Grid holds a vital position at the centre of the energy system and it ‘joins everything up’.
In Great Britain, we run the gas and electricity systems that our society is built on, delivering gas and electricity across the country.
