Maison des Landes is hosting a special event for National Inclusion Week® on Friday 19 September 2025 from 8:30 to 10:30 at Maison des Landes Hotel in St Ouen, with guest speakers representing Jersey Employment Trust, Beresford Street Kitchen and PwC CI. This breakfast is aimed at everyone with an interest in making their workplace more inclusive, especially business leaders and HR professionals.
This year, the theme of National Inclusion Week® is ‘Now is the Time,’ which is a call to action – urging urgency and resilience to keep inclusion a priority at work – focusing on practical steps that make inclusion sustainable and embedded within our local organisations.
Speakers will share their personal lived experience of overcoming barriers to inclusion, and employers will illustrate the benefits of creating diverse and inclusive workplaces, with examples of good practice.
The aim of this event is to raise awareness, promote practical action and put National Inclusion Week® on the annual calendar in Jersey. It offers an opportunity to spark conversations and inspire thinking about inclusion across your organisation. What makes National Inclusion Week® unique and exciting is that is involves everyone. It’s a great time to discuss intersectional issues and include all your communities – across gender, race, religion, LGBTQ+, disabilities, carers and social mobility.
During the morning, we will share insights, discuss practical ideas, and explore simple steps that can help to make your workplace more inclusive for all.
