National Lottery Funding Session for Small Groups and Small Group's Forum
Overview
As part of our Small Groups' Forum we are pleased to announce that the National Lottery Community Fund will be joining us on 3 February to help small groups to explore the funding options currently available from The National Lottery Community Fund together with some top tips for smaller or newer groups to think about when completing applications.Join us for any or all of the following:
- Presentation from the local National Lottery Community Funding Officer, followed by an opportunity to ask questions.
- Opportunity to book a one-to-one slot with the Funding Officer. These will take place on the same day. See the separate booking link on our training page.
- RVA will run an interactive session on how to complete risk assessments and other key things small groups' need to have in place to apply for funding.
Who should attend:
Anyone running or volunteering with a small or new community group in Reading, or anyone wishing to set up a new group or project.
Practicalities:
Registration and refreshments from 9.45am
Lottery funding session 10am - 11.30am
Tea/coffee break 11.30 -11.45
Small Groups' Forum session on completing risk assessments 11:45 12:30
Networking 12:30 - 1pm
Feel free to bring your lunch and stay for as much of this as you are able.

There is no parking onsite but RISC is easily accessed via public transport. Nearby car parks are Queens Road and the Oracle. There are also some disabled parking spots on London Street - see the above link. Please contact us in advance if you have access needs.
