Event description

Description

The National Lottery Heritage Fund is more than just a new name and branding for the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Find out more by booking your place for this jointly presented event, in particular looking at what the NLHF defines as community heritage - with its focus on people engaging with their heritage. With a renewed emphasis on inclusivity, and greater devolution of decision-making to regions, could Heritage Fund support be the right direction for you?

After 25 years of being the largest dedicated funder of heritage in the UK, distributing £7.9bn to over 43,000 heritage projects across the UK, its priorities have been redefined, its programmes simplified and its processes streamlined. The number of outcomes have been reduced, and a new outcome of 'People will have greater wellbeing' has been introduced.

This event is free to voluntary and community organisations operating in Newcastle and Gateshead. There are a limited number of spaces at our free training events and they are in high demand. Please confirm if you are unable to attend this event by giving at least 48 hours notice. Email information@cvsnewcastle.org.uk to let us know and also cancel your booking on Eventbrite. If you are unable to attend and do not give notice then you will be charged £20.00.
