This National Marine Week, join us for eco-crabbing on the seashore in Kimmeridge Bay. Find out how to catch seashore crabs without harming them or the other marine life that lives with them and learn how to look after your catch. Discover the different types of crab to be found at Kimmeridge as well as lots of fun crabby facts.

The event will start at 2pm and will last for approximately 1.5 hours. Please aim to arrive 5-10 minutes before the start time.

This event is suitable for families, but all children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Wellies are recommended. Alternatively, other sturdy footwear for walking on sometimes wet or slippery rocks that you don't mind getting a bit wet (no flip flops). Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions on the day. All equipment will be provided.

Access to Kimmeridge Bay is via a toll road which costs £6 per car (charges vary depending on the vehicle). Car parking is included in the toll fee.

The event is carried out at the waters edge and is not suitable for under three year olds. Please be aware that access to the shore is unsuitable for those with limited mobility.
