Summer Wildlife Walk with a Warden

This National Marine Week, join the local warden for a guided walk to explore wildlife on Kent’s largest National Nature Reserve, Pegwell Bay. There will be plenty to see from summer migratory birds, to wild flowers teaming with butterflies and bees and even young harbour seals.

There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions about Kent’s biggest coastal reserve and how we manage its’ many habitats. These engaging walks will leave you feeling inspired to do more to help protect our coastal and marine wildlife.

Some paths are narrow with rough terrain and will require use of stairs and kissing gate not suitable for wheelchair users. Please ensure you wear sturdy footwear (during periods of wet weather waterproof footwear is advisable) and wear clothing suitable for the weather conditions. PLEASE BRING BINNOCULARS IF YOU HAVE THEM.

Families are welcome but children must be supervised. This event is recomended for over 12s only.

Dogs must be on leads.

There are toilets at the main entrance to Pegwell Bay Country Park.
