The National Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast will be live streamed from Westminster to Town Church, St Helier.
About this event
The National Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast is an opportunity for us to pray for our country, government and politics. Les Isaacs (Founder of Street Pastors and president of the Ascension Trust) will help us to reflect on “Serving the Common Good” as church, in government and in our society, as we build bridges between communities of faith and politics.
Every year, over 700 MPs, Peers and church leaders gather together in the Houses of Parliament to pray for Parliament, government and politics, to build relationships between church leaders and their local MPs, and to reflect upon the relevance of the Christian faith to our public life. Gathering in Jersey to watch the livestream together, seems timely, as we pray for those elected to the States in the June elections.
