National Portfolio 2023 onwards digital briefing – for development orgs
Location
Online event
A series of briefings for organisations interested in applying to join the National Portfolio for 2023 onwards run by Arts Council England.
About this event
This digital briefing session is for organisations who are considering making an application to the National Portfolio for 2023 onwards.
The is a specific briefing session to cover key information for organisations who, as a member of the NPO23+ portfolio, would focus their work on supporting the cultural sector to adopt our Investment Principles.
Organisations that are Sector Support Organisations in our current National Portfolio and who are interested in joining the National Portfolio 2023 onwards in order to provide support to other cultural organisations and individuals to embed our Investment Principles should attend this briefing.
Organisations not currently in the National Portfolio who are interested in doing this work should also attend this briefing.
You can find out more information about the National Portfolio for 2023 onwards on the Arts Council’s website here.
Who should attend the briefing?
We suggest that the CEO or equivalent, and Chair of the Board or equivalent both attend this briefing. To keep numbers manageable, only two people per organisation should attend.
What if I can’t make a briefing?
Don’t worry. All these National Portfolio briefings will be recorded and made available on the Arts Council’s website by early December. They will be found from this webpage.
Other sessions we’re hosting:
- If you’re a National Portfolio Organisation and want to attend one of our briefings that focus on organisations interested in joining the NPO23+ portfolio to deliver our Outcomes can sign up to a briefing here
- If you’re not currently a National Portfolio Organisation and are considering applying to join the NPO23+ portfolio in order to deliver our Outcomes, you can sign up to a briefing here
- Whilst all of the briefing sessions will be accessible, we are hosting a specific briefing for applicants who want to find out more about the access support available through the process. This session will also cover the rest of the content being addressed in the area briefings. You can sign up to the briefing here
These sessions will also be recorded and made available on our website by December.
Joining the briefing:
The briefing will be delivered via Zoom and, for the best user experience, we recommend using the Zoom desktop app - using the app ensures a BSL interpreter and speaker remain on screen throughout the session. After registering for a free ticket on Eventbrite, you will receive an email before the event with joining details.
Accessibility:
Each session will be supported by live captions and BSL interpretation. If you have any other access requirements or queries, please get in touch at: web@artscouncil.org.uk.
Asking questions in the briefing:
There will be a moderated Q&A session in the second half of the briefing. We are expecting to be asked a lot of questions and we won’t be able to answer them all. However, we will be keeping a note of the questions we get asked, and we’ll share Frequently Asked Questions in January 2022, when we publish the full Guidance for Applicants for the National Portfolio.
