Laura Gulliver, Senior Manager for Mental Health UK will talk about Bloom.

Bloom is a free UK-wide programme which supports young people’s (14-18 year olds) mental health resilience. Delivered in schools and colleges over 8 sessions, Bloom equips young people with the tools and knowledge to maintain their mental health through life’s transitions.

Since September 2019 the programme has supported almost 1,200 young people and trained over 100 teachers throughout the UK.

Ivan Annibal, Rose Regeneration and National Rural Health and Care Centre

Measuring the Impact of Rural Support Networks on Their Own Terms. A Presentation Showcasing Work with 8 rural Support Networks in Different Landscape Settings to Identify, Measure and Communicate the Value of What They Achieve . This Project Uses a Tool Called the Social Value Engine to Help Them Assess Their Own Social Value.

Alison Barnes, Money and Pension Service

The Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) launched the UK Strategy for Financial Wellbeing earlier this year which sets out 10 year ambitious targets to improve financial wellbeing across all ages. One of the main agendas is Children and Young People with mental health as theme in all of them. They are currently engaging with stakeholders across Scotland to hear views on how we should develop a Delivery Plan for a Scotland to support this work. Scottish Government are working with MaPS to develop this.
